CLASSES AT THE NARROWS The Narrows hosts a variety of classes offered by local area artists for artists who want to network, share their lifestyle, improve their skills, pursue their passion or just plain "hang out" with like-minded arts enthusiasts and have a good time. Pulp Function Classes Pulp Function Pulp Function Classes (For ages 9-12) Individual Saturday Classes February 16, 23 & March 1, 8, 22, 29 Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Class Fee: $5.00 includes materials Class: Pop-Up Madness! Have you ever-wondered how pop-up books work? In this fun, cutting edge workshop, you will learn the basics of how to make your own drawings jump off the page! Learn how to cut and fold paper to create a simple 3-D pop-up card. All materials are provided -just bring your imagination. Pre-registration is required. Email: publicrelations@ncfta.org or call 508-324-1926. Scholarships available by BOLD. Fiber Art Basketry Narrows Resident Artist Sharon Owens brings the craft of basket weaving to a fine art. For almost twenty years, she has shared her love of basket weaving with others. Traditional, Antler, Pine Needle, Gourd and Nantucket baskets can be made. Sharon has taken classes all over the country, in Ireland and in Canada and passes on her new Gourd techniques to all who wish to learn.
